I have noticed that quite
a lot of travelers confuse about Vietnam visa on arrival. Is it true that, you don’t need to do anything
before your trip but just to go to Vietnam airport/ border to get Vietnam visa
on arrival?
Not likely visa on arrival for other countries like Laos,
Cambodia, you just do nothing till you reach the borders, get your visa stamped there straight away. In
order to get Vietnam visa on arrival, you must:
☑ Ensure that you are taking a plane to Vietnam to get Vietnam
visa stamped at Vietnam airport.
☑ Get a Vietnam visa approval letter in your hand in order to get
the permission for checking-in your flight to Vietnam.
How to apply for Vietnam visa approval letter?
Simply, you will submit your Vietnam visa
request online at: Vietnamvisavoa.com with your passport details, entry/ exit
date, visa type, entry airport. For visa on arrival, you just need to ensure
that you travel by air to Vietnam in order to get Vietnam visa stamped on your
passport upon arrival. Also, keep in mind that the requirement and service fee
would change depend upon your nationality.
What do I do to get Vietnam visa on arrival?
You take with you a copy of Vietnam visa
approval letter to check in your flight. Upon arrival, you show the documents
again along with an entry form filled with your details attached with passport photo,
your passport copy and stamping fee in cash. The Immigration officer will
provide a Vietnam visa stamp on your passport accordingly.
